New Culture Clash to Come From External Forces

The bank advisory business is in a struggle for relevance. And the problem is, many of the individuals involved don’t even realize it.

[…M]any  advisors have pointed to [the] branch reduction as the bane of their existence. But Wayne Cutler, managing director of consulting firm Novantas, says they have missed the main point, which is that banks are trying to reduce the day-to-day transactional traffic, not advisory business.
