Novantas Announces Acquisition of Demand Technology Group

NEW YORK — Novantas LLC, leading provider of management consultancy and information services to the financial industries, has announced the acquisition of Demand Technology Group, Inc. (“DTG”), Burlington, ON.

Demand Technology Group will continue to focus on developing and operating proprietary revenue-enhancement software systems for the financial industries. The software and services company has provided services to Novantas in the past, and will be integrated with Novantas Technology Solutions. The merged entity will be based in Toronto and Burlington Ontario and will work closely with other Novantas offices.

“This is an important step for us as we expand our Canada consulting business and formalize our Toronto presence.” said Dave Kaytes, managing director of Novantas LLC, based in New York City. We anticipate significant growth in this area over the next few years and believe this acquisition provides us with a solid base to build on.”

Demand Technology Group was founded in 2004 by Pete Deschamps. As part of the acquisition, Deschamps was named a Director of Novantas, LLC.
