J.D. Richards Joins Novantas; Experienced Management Consultant Brings Expertise in Strategic Management and Customer Value for Financial Institutions

NEW YORK — Novantas LLC, the leading provider of management consultancy and information services to the financial services industries, today announced the addition of J.D. Richards, an acknowledged source for growth strategy development and organizational effectiveness for the financial services industry.

With significant experience working with international companies, Richards spent the past ten years as a partner at Marakon, where he lead the firm’s North American business development efforts and the M&A area of expertise.

Richards has been named a Managing Director at Novantas and will be based in the Firm’s Chicago office. Skilled in strategic, operational and organizational issues, Richards will support customer relationships for a variety of Novantas clients focusing on the commercial banking practice.

Prior to his tenure at Marakon, Richards was a Managing Consultant at Towers Perrin. He started his consulting career at Arthur Andersen.

He earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A & M University with an M.S. and B.A. in Business Administration Accounting.
